The mission of the Pride Club is to cultivate friendship
among its members, to promote harmonious relations, to be an educational resource for
College of The Sequoias and the community, to encourage members to have better
understanding and concern for their fellow beings, to define and study community problems
and needs in hopes of initiating plans for their solution, and to be of assistance to
those who are in need of it, if within our power to do so.
Pride Club general meetings are open to all students.
Members and officers shall respect all non-inflammatory opinions and discussion
topics. Membership is not contingent on any specific sexual orientation. All
participants in Pride Club related activities shall respect the rights of other members,
including the rights to privacy and nondisclosure. All persons who meet the criteria
for active membership shall be given the right to vote on Pride Club formal member
decisions.
